To commit unrighteous deeds is to turn away from the kingdom of God. 1Corinthians 6:9-10- Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. Ephesians 5:3-5- But among you there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality, or any kind of impurity, or of greed, because these are improper for God's holy people. Nor should there be obscenity, foolish talk or coarse joking, which are out of place, but rather thanksgiving. For of this can you be sure: no immoral, impure or greedy person--such a man is an idolater--has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. Galatians 5:19-21- The acts of the sinful nature are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God. Matt 7:21-23- Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven;
but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will
say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name?
and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many
wonderful works? And then I will profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
Matt
13:40-42- As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire;
so shall it be in the end of this world. The son of man shall send
forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all
things that offend, and them which do iniquity; and shall cast them
into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.
We must turn away from all unrighteousness. 2Tim 2:19- "Everyone who confesses the name of Christ must turn away from unrighteousness." 1Cor 15:34- Awake to righteousness, and sin no more. Ps 45:7- The Lord lovest righteousness, and hatest wickedness. Gal 5:24- they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. Titus 2:12- Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; Titus 2:14- Jesus
Christ gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all
unrighteousness, and purify unto himself a special people, zealous of
good works. Gal 1:4- Jesus gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world. Matthew 5:6- Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled. Proverbs 21:21- He that followeth after righteousness and mercy findeth life, righteousness, and honour.
1John 3:6- No one who lives in Christ keeps on sinning. No one who continues to sin has either seen the Lord or known him. Romans 6:1-2- Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? Romans 6:14-15- For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace. What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid. 2Peter 2:16- Live as free men, but do not use your freedom as a cover-up for evil; live as servants of God. Galatians 5:13- do not use your freedom to indulge the sinful nature. Luke 13:5- Except ye repent, ye shall perish. Matt 9:13- I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance. Matthew 4:17- Repent: for the kingdom of God is at hand. Acts 26:20- I preached that they should repent and turn to God and prove their repentance by their deeds. Acts 17:30- And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent: 2Pet 3:9- The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. Proverbs 28:13- He who conceals his sins does not prosper, but whoever confesses and renounces them finds mercy. Zechariah 1:4- Turn ye now from your evil ways, and from your evil doings. 2Cor 7:1- let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God. Luke 3:8- bring forth fruits worthy of repentance. Isaiah
55:7- Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his
thoughts: and let him return unto the Lord, and he will have mercy upon
him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.
Be a new person in Christ We cannot be the new man until we put off the old man Jesus is the Savior of the world 1John 4:14- And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the son to be the saviour of the world. The MAN Christ Jesus is the true savior The trinitarians teach that Jesus atoned for our sins on the cross as a "god-man," but the bible teaches no such thing. It was a MAN who offered one sacrifice forever Heb 10:12- But this MAN, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God;..
It was a MAN and not a "god-man" who died on the cross for our sins Phil 2:8- And being found in fashion as a MAN, he humbled himself, and became obedient to death, even the death of the Cross.
It was the MAN Christ Jesus who gave himself a ransom for all 1Tim 2:5-6-For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the MAN Christ Jesus; Who gave himself a ransom for all,...
By a man(adam) came death and by a MAN(Jesus) came the atonement Rom 5:11-15- we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement. Wherefore, as by one man (adam) sin entered into the world, and death by sin;........For if through the offence of one (adam) many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one MAN, Jesus Christ,... 1Cor 15:21- For since by man (adam) came death, by MAN (Jesus) came also the resurrection of the dead.
It was the MAN Jesus who made reconcilliation for the sins of the people Heb 2:17- 3:3- Wherefore in ALL THINGS
it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a
merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make
reconcilliation for the sins of the people.......For this MAN was
counted worthy of more glory than moses,.... Jesus bared our sins on the cross 1Pet 2:24- Jesus bared our sins in his own body on the cross, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.
We have redemption through the blood of Christ Rev 1:5- Jesus loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood. Jesus is the reconciliation for our sins John 1:29- Behold the lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.
Jesus opened the door unto salvation Isa 22:22- And the key of the house of
David will I lay upon his shoulder; so he shall open, and none shall
shut; and he shall shut, and none shall open.
Jesus died on the cross and rose from the dead on the third day
Jesus is the only way to salvation Jesus is the only way or gate unto the Father and eternal life. Be not deceived by those who say that there are many ways to get to heaven. There is salvation in only one name and that name is Jesus. Acts 4:12- Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. John 14:6- I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. John 8:24- if ye believe not that I am He(Christ), ye shall die in your sins.
Jesus is the door to salvation John 10:7- I am the door of the sheep.
Christ is our peace Belief in Christ is the only way to have peace with the God the Father.
The wrath of God abides on those who do not believe in Jesus: John 3:36- He that believeth on the son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not on the son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.

Come Unto Jesus
Whoever believes on Jesus in truth shall be saved Calling on Jesus in truth means
that you have repented of your sins and have put off the old man and
will truly follow Jesus and keep his sayings and will no longer walk in
darkness. Salvation cometh by faith We do not have to do good deeds or perform rituals in order to get saved. We cannot earn our salvation. Salvation is the gift of God. Eph 2:8-10- For by grace are ye saved
through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not
of works, lest any man should boast. For we are his workmanship,
created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained
that we should walk in them. Gal 2:21- if righteousness cometh by works, then Christ is dead in vain. Isa 55:1- Ho, every one that
thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye,
buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without
price. Eph 2:8-10- For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
We must be born again of the Spirit John 3:3-6- Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born? Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Romans 8:13- if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the spirit do put to death the deeds of the body, ye shall live. Galatians 5:24- they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. Romans 8:1- There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the spirit.
Live for Christ Col 3:4- When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.
Love is above all things John 13:34- A new commandment I give unto you, that ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. Walk by faith Let your light shine Rom 13:12- let us cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light. Be humble
Have mercy on the poor and afflicted
Prov 28:27- He that giveth unto the poor shall not lack: but he that hideth his eyes shall have many a curse.
The meek shall inherit the earth Be not selfish Prayer Be ye honest Prov 12:22- Lying lips are an abomination unto the Lord. Keep the Lord's Sayings (teachings) We must keep the Lord's sayings to truly love him. John 14:23-24- If a man love me, he will keep my sayings:....He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings:... Luke 6:46- "Why do you call me, Lord, Lord, and do not do what I say? Matt 7:26- And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: Luke 8:21- My mother and my brethren are these which hear the word of God, and do it. Luke 11:28- blessed are they that hear the word of God, and keep it. James 1:22- be ye doers of the word of God, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. 1John 2:3-4- We know that we have come to know the Lord if we obey his commands. The man who says, "I know him(Jesus), but does not do what he commands is a liar, and the truth is not in him. Enter in at the strait gate The strait gate is true belief in the Lord Jesus Christ in which one truly follows his teachings and departs from all iniquity. Matt 7:13-14- Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. Matt 7:21-23- Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Seek wisdom and knowledge Prov 2:3-5- Yea, if thou criest after knowledge, and liftest up thy voice for understanding; If thou seekest her as silver, and searchest for her as for hid treasure, then shalt thou understand the fear of the Lord, and find the knowledge of God. Prov 4:7- Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding. Praise the Lord God (the Father) Ps 150:6- Let everything that hath breath praise the Lord. Ps 147:1- Praise ye the Lord: for it is good to sing praises unto our God; for it is pleasant; and praise is comely. Ps 145:3- Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised; and his greatness is unsearchable. Ps 146:2- While I live I will praise the Lord: I will sing praises unto my God while I have any being. Ps 135:1- Praise ye the Lord, praise ye the name of the Lord; praise him, O ye servants of the Lord. Ps 109:30- I will greatly praise the Lord with my mouth; yea, I will praise him among the multitude. Ps 100:2- Serve the Lord with gladness: come before his presence with singing. Ps 95:1-3- O come, let us sing unto the Lord: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation. Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms. For the Lord is a great God, and a great king above all gods. Fear the Lord Proverbs 1:7- The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction. Proverbs 3:7- fear the Lord, and depart from evil. Proverbs 8:13- The fear of the Lord is to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way. Proverbs 14:2- He that walketh in his uprightness feareth the Lord: but he that is perverse in his ways despiseth him. Proverbs 14:16- A wise man feareth, and departeth from evil: but the fool rageth, and is confident. Proverbs 14:27- The fear of the Lord is a fountain of life, to depart from the snares of death. Proverbs 19:23- The fear of the Lord tendeth to life: and he that hath it shall abide satisfied; he shall not be visited with evil. Psalm 22:23- Ye that fear the Lord, praise him. Psalm 33:18- Behold, the eye of the Lord is upon them that fear him, upon them that hope in his mercy. Psalm 34:7- The angel of the Lord encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them. Psalm 36:1- The transgression of the wicked saith within my heart, that there is no fear of God before his eyes. Psalm 89:7- God is greatly to be feared in the assembly of the saints, and to be had in reverence of all them that are about them. Psalm 103:11- For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him. Psalm 112:1- Blessed is the man that feareth the Lord. Psalm 115:11- Ye that fear the Lord, trust in the Lord: he is their help and their shield. Psalm 119:63- I am a companion of all them that fear thee, and of them that keep thy precepts. Psalm 119:120- My flesh trembleth for fear of thee; and I am afraid of thy judgments. Psalm 128:4- Behold, that thus shall the man be blessed that feareth the Lord. Psalm 147:11- The Lord taketh pleasure in them that fear him, in those that hope in his mercy. Matt 10:28 - And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him (the Father) which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. Strive not to be rich 1Tim 6:9-10- they that
strive to be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many
foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and
perdition. For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while
some coveted after, they have ERRED FROM THE FAITH, and pierced
themselves through with many sorrows. Ps 37:16- A little that a righteous man hath is better than the riches of many wicked. Mark
10:21-23- Then Jesus beholding him loved him, and said unto him, one
thing thou lackest: go thy way, sell whatsoever thou hast, and give to
the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, take up the
cross, and follow me. And he was sad at that saying, and went away
grieved: for he had great possessions. And Jesus looked round about,
and saith unto his disciples, how hardly shall they that have riches
enter into the kingdom of God! Matt 6:19-21- Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: For where your treasure is, there will be your heart also. Col 3:1-2- If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. Jesus is the mediator of the new testament Heb 9:15- Jesus Christ is the mediator of the new covenant. Jer 31:31- Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah. Gal 3:23-26- before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed. Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith. But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a scoolmaster. For ye are all children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. Heb 8:13- In that he saith, a new covenant, he hath made the first old. The Father is the ONE God and Jesus is the ONE mediator between the Father and men The fact that Jesus is the mediator between men and THE FATHER alone, shows that God is not a trinity of persons. John 14:6- I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto THE FATHER, but by me. Eph 2:18- For through Christ we both have access by one spirit unto THE FATHER. 1Tim 2:5- For there is ONE GOD (the Father), and one mediator between God (the Father) and men, the man Christ Jesus. The ONE Mediator The ONE God Men ---------------> The Man Christ Jesus <-------------- The Father Jesus mediates only between the Father and men, because only the Father is God. The Father is the ONE God 1Tim 2:5- For there is ONE GOD (the Father), and one mediator between God (the Father) and men, the man Christ Jesus. 1Cor 8:6- yet unto us is there but ONE God, which is the Father,... Eph 4:6- ONE God and Father of all,... John 17:3- And this is life eternal, that they might know thee (the Father) the ONLY true God,... CONTEND FOR THE TRUE FAITH Jude 3- Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints. Trinitarianism is not the true faith. The Father alone is God is the true faith and we should earnestly contend for that truth and give the Father all of the glory and honor due his great name. We should also contend against other false teachings that lead people astray from the true faith such as eternal security, original sin, baptismal regeneration, pre-trib rapture, calvinism, catholicism, mormonism, Jehovah witnesses, modalism, and so on... Paul would not compromise the truth of the gospel and neither should we compromise the true gospel. Gal 2:-5- Then fourteen years after I went up again to Jerusalem with Barnabas, and took Titus with me also. And I went up by revelation, and communicated unto them that gospel which I preach among the Gentiles, but privately to them which were of reputation, lest by any means I should run, or had run, in vain. But neither Titus, who was with me, being a Greek, was compelled to be circumcised: And that because of false brethren unawares brought in, who came in privily to spy out our liberty which we have in Christ Jesus, that they might bring us into bondage:To whom we gave place by subjection, no, not for an hour; that the truth of the gospel might continue with you. Help contend for the truth that the Father alone is God Witness openly to people that God is not a trinity so that they will know the truth and escape idolatry Help call people unto the true Jesus...the Son of God and not "God the Son." Wherever that you may live in the world, you can make a difference by standing up for the true faith. Here is a flyer that you can print out and give to people: The Father Alone Is God Flyer I pray that many will stand up for the truth that the Father alone is God. The truth does matter Jesus said that we must worship the Father IN TRUTH to be true worshippers of the Father John 4:23-24- But the hour cometh, and now is, when the TRUE WORSHIPPERS shall worship the Father in spirit and IN TRUTH: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. God is a Spirit: and they that worship him MUST WORSHIP HIM in spirit and IN TRUTH. To worship the Father as the "first person of a trinity" is not worshipping him in truth. The Father is not just one part of God, but he is all of God. The trinity denies the Father of his rightful title of God alone. The Father is a God of truth and we must serve him in truth Deut
32:4- He is the Rock, his work is perfect: for all his ways are
judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is he. Joshua 24:14- Now therefore fear the Lord, and serve him in sincerity and IN TRUTH: and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the flood, and in Egypt; and serve ye the LORD. Ps 145:18- The Lord is nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him IN TRUTH. CHRISTIANITY IS NOT TRINITARIAN Trinitarianism teaches that the trinity is the foundation of christianity, but that is not true. Christianity and trinitarianism are two totally different belief systems. Christianity believes that the Father alone is God and that Jesus is the begotten (created) Son of God and trinitarianism believes that God is a trinity of persons and that Jesus is "God the Son." The trinity is not a christian teaching and was never taught by Jesus or his apostles.. Jesus taught that the Father is the only true God (John 17:3) and that the Father is greater than he (John 14:28) and that the Father is greater than all (John 10:29) and that the Father is his God (John 20:17). How much clearer can Jesus be that the Father alone is God? I know that the trinitarians would argue that Jesus has 2 natures (God-man) and that he said those things in his "human" nature only. The two natures of Christ doctrine is not the truth. We do not have two Jesus'...the Jesus who said those things and the Jesus who didn't say those things. We have only one Jesus and all of the one Jesus said that the Father is the only true God and all of the one Jesus that the Father is greater than he and all of the one Jesus said that the Father is his God. The Trinity Is A False Teaching Here is an example of how the two-natures doctrine splits Jesus into two persons The trinitarians teach that Jesus died only in his "human" part. Trinitarian quotes "The human Jesus died, but the divine Jesus did not." "It was THE HUMAN PART of Jesus that died on the cross, not the divine." " In the sacrifice of Jesus, we have Jesus dying. But, did the divine nature of Christ also die? No it did not since God cannot die." "Christ suffered and died in his human nature" Wrong: we do not have two Jesus'....the "human" Jesus who died on the cross and the "divine" Jesus who didn't die on the cross. Jesus is only one person and all of that one person died on the cross for our sins. The teaching that Jesus died on the cross as a man only is backed up by the scriptures. The teaching that Jesus had two natures (God-man) and died only in his "human" nature is not backed up by the scriptures. The truth is so simple and uncomplicated...We have only ONE Jesus...the MAN Christ Jesus who took our sins upon himself. Heb 10:12- But this MAN, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God;.. 1Tim 2:5-6- For there is one God(the Father), and one mediator between God and men, the MAN Christ Jesus; Who gave himself a ransom for all,... The two-natures doctrine splits Jesus into two persons The Apostasy is upon us 2Thess 2:3- Let no one in any way deceive you, for the day of the Lord will not come except there come a falling away first (the Apostasy), ..... I believe that we are now living in the time of the apostasy....False teachers and false teachings abound and false christianity has taken root. List of false teachings The way of truth that the Father alone is God is rejected by the vast majority of professing christians today. People who reject the trinity and rightfully believe that the Father alone is God are labled as non-christians, heretics, cultists and blasphemers. *Trinitarian quotes* "the Trinity must be held in order to be a christian" "if you have come to a settled conclusion that the doctrine of the Trinity is not true--you are not a christian at all. You are in fact a heretic." "Anyone who knowingly fails to accept or intentionally rejects the doctrine of the Trinity cannot be saved." "Whoever denies the Trinity is an unbeliever and a heretic" See We Do Not Have To Believe In The Trinity To Be Saved for more quotes We do not have to believe in the trinity to be saved. Nor are we heretics for believing the truth that the Father is the one God. The scriptures teach that the Father is the ONE God. 1Cor 8:6- yet unto us is there but ONE God, which is the Father,... Eph 4:6- ONE God and Father of all, who is above all,.. 1Tim 2:5- For there is ONE GOD (the Father), and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus. Is it not total apostasy when people are condemned for believing the truth? The Trinity Has A Bloody History Many people were persecuted and killed for refusing to accept the trinity doctrine. Does that sound like a christian doctrine to you? The trinitarians teach that the trinity is a "mystery" that cannot be explained or understood, but we have to believe in it to be saved. Trinitarian quotes "We cannot fully understand how the three divine person are one and the same God, because this is a mystery." "It is a mystery how God can exist in three persons yet be one God." "The doctrine of the Trinity is a mystery beyond our understanding, beyond explanation or definition" "An understanding of the Trinity remains incomprehensible to us." "If you want to be saved, you have to believe in the mystery of the Trinity" "The doctrine of the Trinity cannot be explained, but must be believed" What? We have to believe in a mysterious doctrine that cannot be explained or understood to be saved. That is ridiculous. Doctrines of men Colossians 2:8- Beware lest any man come and spoil you through philosophy and deceitful vanity, through the traditions of men, and ordinances after the world, and not after Christ. Matt 15: 7-9- Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying, This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me. But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. We must look only to the scriptures for doctrine. What men teach for doctrine is irrelevant. Jesus said that the Father is the only true God and that is true biblical doctrine. John 17:3- And this is life eternal, that they might know thee (the Father) the ONLY true God,.. Reject false doctrines Hebrews 13:9- Be not carried about with various and strange (false) doctrines. Ephesians 4:14- be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the wiliness of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lay wait for us to deceive us. Prov 19:27- Cease, my son, to hear the instruction that causeth to err from the words of knowledge. The Love Of The Truth Prov 23:23- Buy the truth, and sell it not. 1John 2:21- no lie is of the truth 2Cor 13:8- For we can do nothing against the truth, but for the truth. John 8:32- the truth shall make you free. Bearing False Witness It is vital to know that Jesus is not God, because it is bearing false witness to say that he is God. Jesus said to go forth and preach the Gospel to all people. He did not say go forth and preach a false Gospel to all people. Mark 16:14-15- Afterward he appeared unto the eleven as they sat at meat, and upbraided them with their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they believed not them which had seen him after he was risen. And he said unto them (the eleven apostles) Go ye into all the world, and preach the Gospel to every person. Deut 5:20- Thou shalt not bear false witness Rom 13:9- Thou shalt not bear false witness,.. Jesus never claimed to be God, but he said that he was the Son of God. False Plan For salvation Trinitarianism teaches that we must believe that Jesus is God to have salvation, which is a false plan for salvation Trinitarian quotes "you must confess the deity of Christ to be saved" "If you don't believe that Jesus is God--you are not a christian" "To be saved, one must believe that Jesus Christ is God. Therefore, those who deny his deity are not saved" "The deity of Christ is required to procure salvation." WRONG: It is not a requirement to believe that Jesus is God to procure salvation. The biblical plan for salvation is that we have to believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, to be saved. The Bible does not teach that we have to believe that Jesus is God to be saved. The Bible teaches that we have to believe that Jesus is the SON OF GOD to be saved: 1John 4:15- Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the SON OF GOD, God dwelleth in him, and he in God. 1John 5:5- Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the SON OF GOD? Jesus did not claim to be the great I AM. The "I am (he)" of John 8:58 is being used out of context. The pre-tribulation rapture is a false teaching. The gathering of the Lord's people will occur immediately after the tribulation when Jesus returns to the earth at his second coming. matt 24:29-31- IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE TRIBULATION of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: And then shall appear the sign of the son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And he shall send his angels with the great sound of a trumpet (7th trump), and they shall GATHER TOGETHER HIS ELECT from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other. mark 13:24-27- But in those days, AFTER THAT TRIBULATION, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars of heaven shall fall, and the powers that are in heaven shall be shaken. And then shall they see the son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory. And then shall he send his angels, and shall GATHER TOGETHER HIS ELECT from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven. The Gathering of the Christians The pre-trib rapture is just not going to happen. Do not be led astray. The gathering comes immediately after the tribulation (post-trib). Here are verses which show that christians will go through the tribulation. Rev 6:9-11- And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held: And they cried with a loud voice, saying, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth? And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellow servants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled. rev 12:17-And the dragon was wroth with the woman(israel), and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ. rev 13:7-And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations. dan 7:25- And he shall speak great words against the most high, and shall wear out the saints of the most high, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time(3 1/2 years). rev 20:4- And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. Jesus said that christians would go through the great tribulation The days of the great tribulation will be shortened for the elect's sake Matt 24:3-22- And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world? And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. All these are the beginning of sorrows. Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake. And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come. When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains: Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house: Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes. And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days! But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day: For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened. The Tribulation is not the Day of the Lord The gathering of the christians (rapture) happens at the day of the Lord. 1thess 4:14 to 1thess 5:2- if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words. But of the times and seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you. For yourselves know perfectly that THE DAY OF THE LORD so cometh as A THIEF IN THE NIGHT. The day of the Lord comes after the great tribulation is over. Paul wrote that the day of the Lord will not occur until after the antichrist is reavealed, which takes place during the great tribulation. 2thess 2:1-4- Now we beseech you, brethren by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, that ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of the Lord is at hand. Let no man DECEIVE YOU by any means: for the day of the Lord shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. The day of the Lord will come after the 3 1/2 year great tribulation is over, which means that the gathering, which occurs at the day of the Lord, also comes after the 3 1/2 year great tribulation is over. The great day of the Lord comes after the 6th vial rev 16:12-16 (6th vial)- And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared. And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God almighty. Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth,and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame. And he gathered them together into a place called in the hebrew tongue Armageddon. Here we are at the 6th vial, which is the gathering together of the world's armies to armageddon and the day of the Lord is still to come. Rev 16:15 states: "Behold, I come as a thief," which means that the Lord hasn't come as yet. We know that rev 16:15 is referring to the day of the Lord coming as a thief, because of these scripture verses: 1thess 5:2- The day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. 2pet 3:10- the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night. Rev 16:15- Behold, I come as a thief. The day of the Lord cannot be the 7 year tribulation, for the earth will be burned up at the day of the Lord. 2Pet 3:10- the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. Eternal Life 1John 5:10-12- He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son. And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. Romans 6:23- For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. John 10:27-28- My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. John 3:14-16- And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Matthew 25:45-47- Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me. And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal. There is no life outside of Christ 1 John 5:12- He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. John 3:18- He that believeth on Christ is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten son of God. Mark 16:16- he that believeth not shall be damned. Jesus is our great treasure. Matt 6:19-21- Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: For where your treasure is, there will be your heart also. Col 3:1-2- If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. REQUIREMENTS TO BE A PREACHER It is required by God that a preacher teach only true doctrines. 1Tim 3:1-3- This is a true saying, if a man desire the office of a bishop, he desireth a good work. A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach; Not given to wine, no striker, not greedy of filthy lucre; but patient, not a brawler, not covetous; 2Tim 2:15- Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. Titus 1:5-11- For this cause left I thee in Crete, that thou shouldest set in order the things that are wanting, and ordain elders in every city, as I had appointed thee: If any be blameless, the husband of one wife, having faithful children not accused of riot or unruly. For there are many unruly and vain talkers and deceivers, specially they of the circumcision: Whose mouths must be stopped, who subvert whole houses, teaching things which they ought not, for filthy lucre's sake. Titus 2:1- But speak thou the things which become sound doctrine: Titus 2:7- In all things shewing thyself a pattern of good works: in doctrine shewing uncorruptness, gravity, sincerity, Having a diploma doesn't make one a preacher. What makes one a preacher is teaching the truth to people. If a preacher teaches CONTRARY to the scriptures, then he is not a true preacher. Rom 16:17-18- Now I beseech you, mark them which cause divisions and offences CONTRARY to the doctrine which ye have learned; and AVOID THEM. For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, Gal 1:9- if any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, hold him as accursed. Religious Hypocrisy A preacher must be blameless and without hypocrisy titus 1:5-7- For this cause left I thee in Crete, that thou shouldest set in order the things that are wanting, and ordain elders in every city, as I had appointed thee: If any be blameless, the husband of one wife, having faithful children not accused of riot or unruly. Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye. Beware of religious hypocrites Matthew 7:15- Beware of false teachers, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. Ye shall know them by their fruits (actions). We must walk with discernment. Hypocrites are everywhere today using religion as a cover for their evildoing. It makes one heartsick to read through the endless amount of cases of religious hypocrites who committed horrific crimes against people. Religious Hypocrisy Put your trust in God--not in man Ps 40:4- Blessed is the man that maketh the Lord his trust, and respecteth not the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies. Jer 17:5-7- Thus saith the Lord; cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the Lord....Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord, and whose hope the Lord is. Ps 91:2- I will say of the Lord, he is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust. Ps 141:8- But mine eyes are unto thee, O God the Lord: in thee is my trust. Ps 118:8- It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man. Serve only God Matt 4:10- Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve Deut 10:20- Thou shalt fear the Lord thy God; him shalt thou serve, and to him shalt thou cleave, and swear by his name. Let no one be a lord over your faith 1Pet 5:2-3- The elders which are among you, I exhort, which am also an elder and a witness of the afflictions of Christ, and also a partaker of the glory that shall be revealed: see that ye feed Christ's flock which is among you, taking the oversight of them, not as though ye were compelled thereto, but willingly: not for the desire of filthy profit(money), but of a good mind: not as though ye were lords over God's heritage: but that ye be an example to the flock. 2Cor 1:23-24- I call God for record unto my soul, that for to favour you withal, I came not any more unto corinth. Not that we be lords over your faith: but helpers of your joy. John 10:30 Confusion The trinitarians teach that Jesus claimed equality with the Father when he said "I and the Father are one." Trinitarian quotes "In John 10:30 the Lord Jesus claimed absolute equality with the Father. He said, `I and the Father are one.´ "In John 10:30 he (Jesus) claims equality with the Father when he states, "I and my Father are one." Wrong: Jesus was not claiming equality with the Father. Don't read John 10:30 out of context, but read John 10:29-30 together. Jesus told the Pharisees that the Father was greater than all just before he uttered the words, "I and my Father are one:" John 10:29-30- MY FATHER, which gave them me, IS GREATER THAN ALL; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand. I and my Father are one. The trinitarians want us to believe that Jesus said in one breath that the Father is greater than all, then in the very next breath claimed equality with the Father. I don't think so. The meaning of "I and my Father are one" is simple. It means that the Father and Jesus are in perfect accord with each other. John 10:30- I and my Father are one (in perfect accord). We are to be one (in perfect accord) with each other just as the Father and the Son are one (in perfect accord) with each other. John 17:11- Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, THAT THEY MAY BE ONE (in perfect accord), as we are. John 17:20-22- Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word; That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; THAT THEY MAY BE ONE (in perfect accord), EVEN AS WE ARE ONE (in perfect accord):... 1Cor 1:10-13- Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be NO DIVISIONS among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment. For it hath been declared unto me of you, my brethren, by them which are of the house of Chloe, that there are contentions among you. Now this I say, that every one of you saith, I am of paul; and I of apollos; and I of cephas; and I of Christ. Is Christ divided? Phil 1:27- stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel. Phil 2:2- Fufil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind. Jesus is the only mediator Many organizations claim that they are the only true church and that we have to go through them to be saved. The Catholics say that they are the only true church.....The protestants say that they have the truth...the mormons say that they are the only true church...the jehovah's witnesses say that they are the only true church....and on and on............ See: The true church is within us What are we to believe? I look at the doctrines that are being taught today and I just don't see any of those organizations preaching the true gospel. False teachings The Trinity, Deity of Christ, The Incarnation, Two-natures of Christ, Eternal sonship, Original Sin, Eternal Security, Calvinism, Pre-Trib Rapture, Saved by works, Baptismal Regeneration, Infant baptism, Trinitarian baptism, Purgatory, Soul Sleep, Mandatory 10% tithing, Mandatory Sabbath keeping, Amillennialism, catholicism, mariology, Immaculate conception of Mary, mormonism, Modalism--Oneness, prosperity gospel, The teaching that there is no Hell,... For a church to be a true church it must teach the truth to people. Those who teach contrary to the scriptures are false teachers. Rom 16:17-18- Now I beseech you, mark them which cause divisions and offences CONTRARY to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them. For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, False-1. untruthful 2. not genuine or real; counterfeit False teachers masquerade as true teachers, but the doctrines will show who is true and who is false. 2Cor 11:13-15- For such men are false apostles, deceitful workmen, masquerading as apostles of Christ. And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light. It is not surprising, then, if his servants masquerade as servants of righteousness. Their end will be what their actions deserve. Eternal Security Deception
Acts 3:19- Repent ye, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out. Luke 13:5- Except ye repent, ye shall perish. Proverbs 28:13- He who conceals his sins does not prosper, but whoever confesses and renounces them finds mercy. Zechariah 1:4- Turn ye now from your evil ways, and from your evil doings. Luke 3:8- bring forth fruits worthy of repentance. Isaiah 55:7- Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the Lord, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.
We cannot commit unrighteous deeds and still be saved, so be not deceived. 1cor 6:9- Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived:.... Galatians 6:7-8- Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. Ephesians 5:3-6- But among you there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality, or of any kind of impurity, or of greed, because these are improper for God's holy people. Nor should there be obscenity, foolish talk or coarse joking, which are out of place, but rather thanksgiving. For of this you can be sure: No immoral, impure or greedy person—such a man is an idolater—has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of such things God's wrath comes on those who are disobedient. James 1:22- be ye doers of the word of God, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. 2Tim 2:19- "Everyone who confesses the name of Christ must turn away from unrighteousness." 1Cor 15:34- Awake to righteousness, and sin no more. Ps 45:7- The Lord lovest righteousness, and hatest wickedness. Eternal security offers a false hope to those who do not want to give up sinning. We must forsake sin to be a follower of Christ. John 8:12- Then spake Jesus unto them again, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness (commit sin), ... 1John 3:6- No one who lives in Christ keeps on sinning. No one who continues to sin has either seen the Lord or known him. 1John 1:6- If we say that we have fellowship with God, yet walk in the darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:.. Eternal security is so out of touch with reality that it actually teaches that a believer can become an unbeliever and still be a believer. Quotes "The behavior pattern of a carnal christian cannot be distinguished from that of an unbeliever. As far as God's word is concerned, YOU MAY ACT LIKE AN UNBELIEVER; but if you believed in Christ, you are still a believer" "Even if a believer for all practical purposes becomes an unbeliever, HIS SALVATION IS NOT IN JEOPARDY." "you can't tell a carnal believer from a lost man. That is, you can't tell the cold from the carnal because the truth is, they're both acting the same way. Now, one of them IS IN CHRIST and one of them isn't." "As far as overt behaviour is concerned, a carnal believer cannot be distinguished from an unbeliever." "Our salvation is so secure-even if we believe not after we're saved" "Salvation Does Not Depend on Continuing to Believe" "believers who lose or abandon their faith will retain their salvation." "Even if a person who was once saved, later comes to deny Christ, yet he is saved regardless" So, we can deny Christ and become an unbeliever again and still be saved. That is craziness. Do not buy into eternal security, for it is a fraud. Becoming a christian will cost us our life of sin. The old things have to go. 2Corinthians 5:17- if any man be in Christ, he is a new person: old things are passed away, behold, all things are become new. Galatians 5:24- they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. We are not born sinners (original sin is false) One of the major stumbling blocks to holiness is the original sin doctrine. People are being taught that they are born sinners and cannot help but sin, which is not the truth. original sin quotes "We're all born sinners" "We were all born into sin. We cannot help sinning" "We commit sin because we are born sinners" "we do bad things because we are born sinners" "How many think that you could get to the point of being sinless here on earth? Of course not. You can’t. None of us can. We were born sinners and we will die sinners." "As a Human you can never stop sinning. We were born into sin" "We were born sinners, we can NEVER stop sinning" "We cannot live even one day without sinning against God, and we do not have the ability in ourselves to stop sinning and live a holy sinless life" "It is not possible to stop sinning. At one point or another in your life, no matter what you do for the most part, you will HAVE to sin. We are all born with original sin, so sinning is natural and there is no way we can control it." "We are all born with original sin, so sinning is natural and there is no way we can control it." Wrong: We are not "born sinners" nor are we powerless to stop sinning. The original sin doctrine is a built in excuse for sinful behavior. What Adam did thousands of years ago has nothing to do with a person who decides of his own free will to commit sin. If we commit sinful deeds, it is because we chose to sin and not because we are a born sinners who cannot help sinning. Original sin is an obvious false teaching, for how can sin be inherited? Is there a sin gene that is passed on from parents to their children? Of course not. It is ridiculous to teach that sin can be inherited. Sin is an ACTION and not genetic material that can be passed on. Definition of Sin:- an ACTION that is or is felt to be highly reprehensible. Original sin is a lie about God God did not make us "born sinners" God does not tempt people to sin, but people sin because of their own lust James 1:13-15- Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man: But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death. Those who teach original sin say that it is a "mystery" that cannot be understood. Quotes "The Mystery of Original Sin." "Original sin is a mystery taught as a revealed doctrine, a reality which cannot be fully understood by the power of our minds," "the transmission of original sin is a mystery that we cannot fully understand." So, original sin is a mysterious doctrine that cannot be understood. It seems like everything that the trinitarians teach is a mystery that cannot be understood. The trinity is a mystery, the incarnation is a mystery, the two natures doctrine is a mystery and original sin is a mystery. The bible is not a book of "mysteries" that cannot be explained or understood. We should reject all of these so-called "mysterious" doctrines, for they are not biblical doctrines. Original sin is not a "mystery" but it is a false doctrine. We are not born sinners. Sin is something that we choose to do and not something that we are forced to do. It is an excuse to say that we sin because we are born into sin. We are not pre-programmed sinners who are helpless to stop sinning. We can stop sin in our lives if we truly repent and put off the old man. True Belief vs False Belief Our actions speak louder than our words. We can profess that we believe in God, but the way we live will show if we really believe in him. If we continue in sin and rebellion, then our profession of belief in God is hollow and phoney. Titus 1:16- They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate. Titus 1:16- They profess to know God, but by their actions they deny him. They are detestable, disobedient and unfit for doing anything good. Titus 1:16- They say they know God, but their actions speak louder than their words. Titus 1:16- Such people claim they know God, but they deny him by the way they live. They are detestable and disobedient, ... Titus 1:16- They profess to know God [to recognize, perceive, and be acquainted with Him], but deny and disown and renounce Him by what they do; they are detestable and loathsome, unbelieving and disobedient and disloyal and rebellious,.... We are liars if we profess to know God, yet continue in sin and rebellion. 1John 1:6- If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness (commit sin), we lie, and do not the truth: 1John 1:6- If we claim that we experience a shared life with him and continue to stumble around in the dark, we're obviously lying through our teeth—we're not living what we claim. 1John 2:4- He that saith, I know him, yet keepeth not his sayings, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. 1John 2:4- If someone claims, “I know God,” but doesn’t obey God’s commandments, that person is a liar and is not living in the truth. 1John 2:4- If someone claims, "I know him well!" but doesn't keep his commandments, he's obviously a liar. His life doesn't match his words. We must serve God with our actions and not just our words. Matt 15:7-9- Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying, This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me. But in vain they do worship me,... We are known by the fruits that we bring forth. If we do evil then we are evil. Matthew 7:17-18- every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Matthew 12:33- Either make the tree good, and his fruit good also: or else make the tree evil, and his fruit evil also: for the tree is known by the fruit he brings forth. Luke 6:43-44- a good tree bringeth not forth corrupt fruit; neither doth a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. For every tree is known by his own fruit. Matthew 3:10- And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: therefore every tree which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. We must keep the Lord's sayings for our belief to be a genuine belief. If we do not follow the Lord's teachings, then how can we claim to believe in him? That would be a belief in words only and not in actions where we actually do what the Lord says to do. Luke 6:46- "Why do you call me, Lord, Lord, and do not do what I say? Matt 7:21-23- Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then I will profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity (commit sin). We have to be doers of the Lord's teachings to be his disciples John 8:31-32- To the jews who had believed him, Jesus said, "If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. John 8:31- If ye continue in my word (keep my sayings), then are ye my disciples indeed;... Luke 8:21- My mother and my brethren are these which hear the word of God, and do it. Luke 11:28- blessed are they that hear the word of God, and keep it. James 1:22- be ye doers of the word of God, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. Hell's Fire Do not believe those who teach that we can be wicked and still be saved, for they are teaching a false message. The wicked will be cast into hell Ps 9:17 - The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God. Matt 25:46- and these (the wicked) shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal. Matt 13:40-41- As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world. The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity; And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth. Jesus warned about hell Mt 5:29 - And if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell. Mt 5:30 - And if thy right hand offend thee, cut it off, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell. Mt 18:9 - And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life with one eye, rather than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire. Mt 10:28 - And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. Luke 12:5 - But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him. We have two paths set before us....the narrow path that leads to eternal life and the broad path that leads to hell and destruction. Matt 7:13-14- Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. The narrow path is the path of true belief in which we forsake sin and truly keep the Lord's sayings The broad path is the path of unbelief in which we commit sinful deeds and do not follow the teachings of the Lord. Eternal security and original sin might sound appealing ("we are born sinners and we don't have to give up sin to be saved"), but that is a fantasy world. Jesus will not accept lukewarm servants Rev 3:15-17- I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth. Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked: Jesus gave it all for us and we should give it all for him. We shouldn't have to be told that we have to forsake sin and that we have to follow his teachings. We should want to do those things without hesitation for our great Lord and savior. 2Cor 5:15- Christ died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again. Gal 2:20- I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. The Holy Spirit Is The Father Of Jesus Jesus was created in Mary's womb by the Holy Spirit: Matt 1:18- Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child OF THE HOLY SPIRIT. Matt 1:20- that which is conceived in her is OF THE HOLY SPIRIT. Luke 1:31-35- And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name Jesus......Then said Mary unto the angel, how shall this be, seeing I know not a man? And the angel answered and said unto her, THE HOLY SPIRIT shall come upon thee,... Jesus came forth from the Father who is the Holy Spirit. John 1:14- and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only BEGOTTEN OF THE FATHER,... John 16:28- I came forth FROM THE FATHER, and am come into the world:... John 1:14- and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only BEGOTTEN OF THE FATHER,... The trinitarians teach that the Holy Spirit is distinct from the Father and is the third person of a trinity, but that scenario is false. The Holy Spirit is the Father of Jesus Christ, so it is not feasible that the Holy Spirit could be distinct from the Father. The Father has to be the Holy Spirit. If the Father is not the Holy Spirit, then the Father is not the Father of Jesus Christ. Whoever conceived Jesus in Mary's womb is the Father of Jesus Christ. If the Father is the Holy Spirit, then it was the Father who came upon Mary and conceived Jesus in her womb, but if the Holy Spirit is the third person of a trinity then it was the third person of a trinity who came upon Mary and conceived Jesus in her womb. *Quotes* "By definition, the one who begets (causes conception) is the father of the one begotten." "The word beget means to procreate as the father, in other words cause conception .. Therefore one who begets is the Father of the one begotten." "It is not physiologically or Scriptural possible to be "conceived" by one person and then when born, be the son of another person! Whoever causes a women to conceive is also the FATHER of the child conceived, NOT ANOTHER AND DIFFERENT PERSON! Jesus was conceived by the holy spirit. It was the spirit OF the Father, not some other spirit that caused Mary to conceive." And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God....."Do you see WHO Fathered the child? It was the Holy Spirit" "Is not the one who conceived you your father? If the Spirit accomplished the conception, then He alone should be the Father." "The Holy Spirit cannot be separated from the Father,.....That which was conceived in the virgin Mary was of the Holy Ghost. Matt. 1:20. The truth becomes evident that the Holy Spirit is the Father of the Son. To try to separate the Father and the Holy Spirit and form two Persons, would give the Son two Fathers, which is impossible. Definitely the Father and the Holy Spirit would have to be the same Spirit.There is only ONE SPIRIT. Eph 4:4. "For by ONE SPIRIT are we all baptized into one body..." 1Cor. 12:13." "The honest reader can see that the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God the Father who conceived baby Jesus of Nazareth and not a 3rd and separate person who is not the Father. In Trinitarianism, the Holy Spirit is not the Father and they create for themselves here the ridiculous predicament of having one person conceive baby Jesus but Jesus having another person altogether as his father. Absurd." "So the question, Who is the Father? The Holy Ghost IS the Father! That is exactly what the Bible says! So if the Father ISN'T the Father, then Jesus had a surrogate Dad! That is in the doctrine of the Trinity." DON'T TRADE YOUR SOUL Matt 16:26- For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? There is nothing on earth worth trading our soul for...no sinful deed or sexual immorality or wealth or status or fame or fortune is worth spending eternity in Hell's fire. Ps 9:17- The wicked shall be cast into Hell. Matt 25:46- the wicked shall go away into everlasting punishment. Turn away from all sin and come unto Jesus, for nothing can compare to him. Jesus is the light of the world and his blood cleanseth us from all sin if we will only repent and follow him in truth. 1John 1:7- but if we walk in the light, as Christ is in the light, then we have fellowship with God (the Father), and the blood of Jesus Christ his son cleanseth us from all sin Repentance from sin is not an option. The apostle John wrote that we are liars if we profess to be saved, yet continue to walk in the darkness (commit sin). 1John 1:6- If we say that we have fellowship with God, yet walk in the darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: There is no such thing as a "carnal" christian. Eternal security is a great deception. The scriptures teach that it is spiritual death to commit sin. Rom 8:6- For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Romans 8:12-14- brothers, we have an obligation--but it is not to the sinful nature, to live according to it. For if you live according to the sinful nature, you will die; but if by the spirit you put to death the misdeeds of the body, you will live, because those who are led by the spirit of God are the sons of God. Ezekiel 18:20- The soul who sins is the one who will die. Romans 6:23- the wages of sin is death. James 1:15- when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death. Prov 11:19- he that pursueth evil pursueth it to his own death. We will lose our salvation if we continue in sin: Heb 10:26- if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,... Ezekiel 18:24- if a righteous man turns from his righteousness and committeth iniquity (sin) and does the same detestable things the wicked man does, will he live? None of the righteous things he has done will be remembered. Because of the unfaithfulness he is guilty of and because of the sins he has committed, he will die. Rom11:22- Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, IF thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shall be cut off. Coming to Jesus is a total life committment and not some part-time thing in which we can live in righteousness one day and live in sin the next day. That is being double-minded and is not following the Lord in truth. James 1:6-8- he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord. A double minded man is unstable in all his ways. Righteousness can have no fellowship with unrighteouness, nor can we be both of the light and of the darkness, nor can we be both of Christ and of the devil. 2Cor 6:14-15- Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? And what concord hath Christ with the devil? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? Jesus gave his life for us and, so, we, too, have to give up our life for him. We are to bury our old man of sin with Christ so that we can raise up from the dead to be the new man of righteousness and holiness. Rom 6:3-13- Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection: Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. List of false teachings We are supposed to contend for the true faith and not contend for a false gospel. Jesus railed against the pharisees for false proselytizing (false witnessing): Matt 23:15- Woe unto you, scribes and pharisees, hypocrites! for ye compass sea and land to make one convert, and when he is made, ye make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves. God will hold us responsible if we lead his sheep astray, so we better make sure that we know true doctrine before we go about witnessing. False teachers will face a greater condmenation from God: James 3:1- My brethren, be not many masters, knowing that we shall receive the greater condemnation. Luke 20:46-47- Beware of the scribes, which desire to walk in long robes, and love greetings in the markets, and the highest seats in the synagogues, and the chief rooms at feasts; Which devour widows' houses, and for a shew make long prayers: the same shall receive greater damnation. Alot of people believe that matt 28:19 is an interpolation that does not belong in the scriptures and I agree. Quotes "Feine (PER3, XIX, 396 f) and Kattenbusch (Sch-Herz, I, 435 f. argue that the Trinitarian formula in Matthew 28:19 is spurious. No record of the use of the Trinitarian formula can be discovered in the Acts of the epistles of the apostles" (The International Standard Bible Encyclopedia, James Orr, 1946, page 398). *WRONG* We do not have to be baptized in the name of the trinity, for there is no such thing as a trinity. It is the middle part of mark 16:16 that makes no sense. Why would Jesus tell his apostles that people who believe on him had to also be baptised before they can be saved? Paul baptised only a few people and wrote that Christ did not send him to baptise, which makes no sense if baptism were required to obtain salvation. Less they say they were baptized in the name of Paul. he only baptized a few. This is quite a dilemma for those who say baptism saves. Paul states, "Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the Gospel." If baptism was a central part of the Gospel message, Paul would never have stated this." Also, if baptism were mandatory, then who is supposed to baptise us? Who are the official baptizers to baptize us so that we are qualified to be saved? How about the trinitarians (catholics-protestants) are they the official baptizers? I don't think so. The trinity is idolatry, so why would we want to be baptised in the name of a trinity? How about the anti-trinity groups? are they the official baptizers? I don't think so. The anti-trinity groups deny that the holy spirit is God and teach many false doctrines. How about the greedy prosperity tv preachers? are they the official baptizers? I don't think so. We are in alot of trouble if we have to be baptised to get saved, for false teachers are everywhere today. 2Pet 2:1- But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. 1John 4:1- Beloved, believe not every spirit, but test the spirits whether they are of God or not: For many false teachers are gone out into the world. What? Are we to go to false teachers to be baptised so that we can get saved? God forbid! We should never permit a false teacher to perform the baptism ritual on us, for that would be an abomination to the Lord. Paul wrote that false teachers are accursed (Gal 1:6-9) and that we are to avoid false teachers (Rom 16:17-18). Do you see the problems that would arise if baptism were a requirement to be saved? The gospel of christ would be greatly hindered if we had to go through men to obtain salvation. Do not be led astray into believing that you have to be baptized to get saved. Salvation cometh by belief in Jesus Christ and not by rituals performed by men. Rom 10:9-13- if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. For there is no difference between the jew and the greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Ps 145:18-19- The Lord is nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth. He will fulfil the desire of them that fear him: he also will hear their cry, and will save them. 1John 4:15- Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God. 1John 5:1- Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God. Acts 16:31- Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved. Acts 10:43- whosoever believeth in Christ shall receive remission of sins. Those who teach baptism regeneration want us to go through them to be saved, but we do not have to go through anyone but Jesus to obtain salvation. Jesus is the only mediator that we have to go through to be saved. John 14:6- I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto THE FATHER, but by me. Eph 2:18- For through Christ we both have access by one spirit unto THE FATHER. 1Tim 2:5- For there is ONE GOD (the Father), and one mediator between God (the Father) and men, the man Christ Jesus. Heb 9:15- Jesus Christ is the mediator of the new covenant. John 10:9- I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. John 10:7- I am the door of the sheep. The Baptism of the Holy Spirit Do we have to be baptised before we can receive the holy spirit and be saved? Absolutely not. Salvation is the gift of God and not the working of men. We are saved by grace through faith. Eph 2:8-10- For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. Cornelius and his house received the Holy Spirit before they were baptised, which is irrefutable proof that we do not have to be baptised to get saved. Acts 10:44-48- While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Spirit fell on all them which heard the word....Then answered Peter, Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Spirit as well as we? Acts 11:15-16- And as I began to speak, the Holy Ghost fell on them, as on us at the beginning. Then remembered I the word of the Lord, how that he said, John indeed baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost. Baptismal regeneration is a false teaching. We are baptized with the holy spirit when we call upon the Lord Jesus and believe on him. Matthew 3:11- I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance. but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire: Mark 1:8- I indeed have baptized you with water: but he shall baptize you with the Holy Spirit Luke 3:16- John answered, saying unto them all, I indeed baptize you with water; but one mightier than I cometh, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose: he shall baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire: John 1:33- And I knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him, the same is he which baptizeth with the Holy Spirit Acts 1:5- For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days hence. Acts 11:16- Then remembered I the word of the Lord, how that he said, John indeed baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit Titus 3:4-7- But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared, Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Spirit; Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour; That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life. We are sealed by the holy spirit and not by water baptism Ephesians 4:30- And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption. Ephesians 1:13- In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, Baptismal regeneration is a ridiculous teaching...Just think about it...what if someone reads the new testament and believes on Jesus and wants to be saved right away, but there was no one around to baptise him. What is he supposed to do? Put off coming to the Lord until he can find someone to perform the baptism ritual on him? That is craziness. Baptismal regeneration gives men the power to administer salvation to people, which is totally unscriptural. Salvation goes through Jesus Christ alone, so there is no need to go through a middle man to get saved. And why would we want to give men that kind of authority over us anyway? Do we really want men to lord over our faith like that? It was Jesus who died on the cross for our sins and he alone is the mediator between God and men. 1Tim 2:5- For there is ONE GOD (the Father), and one mediator between God (the Father) and men, the man Christ Jesus.

Acts 10:43- whosoever believeth in Christ shall receive remission of sins. If salvation cometh by water baptism, then salvation has to be earned, which is not what the scriptures teach. The scriptures teach that we are justified from our sins freely by grace Titus 3:5-7- Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour; That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life. Romans 3:24- Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: Romans 3:28- Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law. Romans 5:1- Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: Galatians 2:16- Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified. Galatians 3:24- Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith. Titus 3:7- That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life Galatians 5:4- Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace. Galatians 2:21- I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain. It is the blood of Christ that saves us from our sins and not water baptism Romans 5:9- Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. Matthew 26:28- For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins. Acts 20:28- Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood. Ephesians 1:7- In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace; Ephesians 2:13- But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood, Revelation 5:9- And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood Apologetics Apologetics is the defense of the true christian faith in which false teachers and false teachings are exposed. Jude 3- Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints. Quotes "Apologetics- the branch of theology concerned with the defense or proof of Christianity." "That branch of theology which defends the Holy Scriptures," "the branch of theology that is concerned with the defense of Christian doctrines" "The word "APOLOGETICS" is taken from a Greek word which appears 13 times in the New Testament. The Greek form is APOLOGIA, and it means, "to give an answer," "to give a defense," or "to defend." Our Apologetic (defense), is focused toward the correct teaching of the Bible as opposed to unbiblical or unorthodox teachings." Apologetics is a good thing if you are defending the true faith. The problem with apologetics today is that many false doctrines are being defended as though they were true doctrines. This is false apologetics! I was listening to this well-known teacher and he was warning people about false teachers...this person was going on and on about false teachings and how false teachers destroy the true faith and the crowd would clap their approval not knowing that they were being warned about false teachers by a person who was a false teacher himself......The trinity and eternal security are false teachings, yet this teacher was defending those doctrines as true tenents of christianty...that is false apologetics! Unfortunately, there are many apologists like that teacher who think that they are defending true doctrines, when, in reality, they are defending false doctrines. Take a look through the doctrinal statements of the major apologetic organizations and you will find that they all hold to the trinity and the deity of christ, which are false teachings. We need to get the beam out of our own own eye before we reprove others for their errors. We are hypocrites if we correct others for their false teachings, yet we also hold to false teachings. Matt 7:3-5- And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye? Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye? Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye. It is sad what is going on in apologetics today. We have the trinitarian apologists who label everyone as a cult and false teachers if they reject trinitarianism, and then we have the other side ( jehovah's witnesses & other anti-trinity groups) who call the trinitarians the false teachers. Both sides claim to defend the true faith, but when you take a close look at the doctrines that they are defending, you find that neither side is defending the true faith. Trinitarianism is a false gospel and the anti-trinity groups also teach many false doctrines. List of false teachings The Apostle Paul was a true apologist for the christian faith. He defended true doctrine and renounced false doctrine. 2Cor 2:17- For we are not as many, which corrupt the word of God: but as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God speak we in Christ. 2Cor 4:1-2- Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not; But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God. Paul wrote that those who pervert the gospel are accursed, so it is imperative that we adhere only to true doctrine. Galatians 1: 6-9- I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, hold him as accursed. As we said before, so now I say again, if any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, hold him as accursed. We must hold fast to the word of truth 2Tim 2:15- Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. Titus 2:1- But speak thou the things which become sound (true) doctrine: Titus 2:7- In all things shewing thyself a pattern of good works: in doctrine shewing uncorruptness, gravity, sincerity, Titus 1:5-11- For this cause left I thee in Crete, that thou shouldest set in order the things that are wanting, and ordain elders in every city, as I had appointed thee: If any be blameless, the husband of one wife, having faithful children not accused of riot or unruly. For a bishop must be blameless, as the steward of God; not selfwilled, not soon angry, not given to wine, no striker, not given to filthy lucre; But a lover of hospitality, a lover of good men, sober, just, holy, temperate; Holding fast the faithful word as he hath been taught, that he may be able by sound (true) doctrine both to exhort and to convince the gainsayers. For there are many unruly and vain talkers and deceivers, specially they of the circumcision: Whose mouths must be stopped, who subvert whole houses, teaching things which they ought not, for filthy lucre's sake. We must be very aware that not every one who claims to be a true teacher is actually a true teacher. Jesus warned us that false teachers would present themselves as true teachers: Matthew 7:15- Beware of false teachers, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. Paul wrote that false teachers would appoint themselves as true teachers 2Cor 11:13-15- For such men are false apostles, deceitful workmen, masquerading as apostles of Christ. And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light. It is not surprising, then, if his servants masquerade as servants of righteousness. Their end will be what their actions deserve. False apologetics is rampant today, so we have to be careful about who we allow to define to us what is true doctrine and what is false doctrine. If we are not discerning, we could escape one false teacher only to be deceived by another false teacher. Example: We are warned today by many that the jehovah's witnesses are false teachers and that we should stay away from them, which is a good thing. The jehovah's witnesses are false teachers and we should reject their teachings. The problem is that those who are warning us about the jehovah's witnesses and other false teachers, are also teaching false doctrines and leading people astray from the truth. I went into this website that presented itself as exposers of false teachers, yet when I checked out their doctrinal statement, I found that, they, also, were teaching many false doctrines (the trinity, the deity of christ, two-natures doctrine, holy spirit is the 3rd person of a trinity and original sin, which are all false teachings). So, what we have today is a situation in which we are being warned about false teachers by those who also teach false doctrines. We lose no matter which way we turn. If we turn to the mainstream we get false teachings and if we turn to non-mainstream we get false teachings. What total apostasy! Where has truth gone? It seems like just about everything that is called "christianity" has departed from the original faith as taught by Jesus and his apostles. Where is the true faith being taught today? The answer is simple....the holy bible! The Bible is our instruction book 2Tim 16-17- All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: that the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works. We don't need a middleman The doctrines taught in the new testament are put forth in a clear and concise manner. We do not need anyone to interpret the new testament for us and then tell us what to believe. We can read the scriptures for ourselves and get our doctrine directly from the source without going through a middleman. We have all the words of God at our fingertips in the bible, so there is no reason to look elsewhere for doctrine. The world is full of middleman who twist the scriptures and teach their own opinions, but the holy bible is a rock of truth. We will never be led astray if we hold only to the doctrines that are taught in the new testament. We go astray when we allow a middleman to interpret the scriptures for us. False doctrines do not come from the new testament, but false doctrines come from men who re-interpret and distort the new testament. Essential Doctrines Of The Christian Faith Essential doctrines are the foundational truths of christianity I have researched many essential doctrine lists and there are doctrines that are being promoted as essential doctrines which are not essential doctrines, but are false doctrines. The trinity and the deity of christ are at the top of just about every esential doctrine list that I came across, yet they are false teachings. The doctrines of original sin and eternal security and mandatory baptism are on alot of the essential doctrine lists, yet they are also false teachings. The true essential doctrines of christianity are vastly different from what is being taught today. Examples: Here are three essential doctrine lists that I found Quotes "Central doctrines include the Trinity, the deity of Christ, the bodily resurrection, the atoning work of Christ on the cross, and salvation by grace through faith. These doctrines so comprise the essence of the Christian faith that to remove any of them is to make the belief system non-Christian." "A common list of essential doctrines would be: * The deity and humanity of Christ * The doctrine of the Trinity (including the deity of the Holy Spirit) * Virgin birth of Jesus * The bodily resurrection of Christ * Salvation by grace through faith "Essential Doctrines: 1. Salvation by Grace Alone Through Faith Alone 2. Christ's Vicarious Atonement (The Penal Substitutionary View) 3. The Bodily Resurrection of Christ Jesus from the Dead 4. The Unique Deity (and Humanity) of Jesus Christ Christ is fully divine and fully human. He has two complete natures. 5. The Trinity" Wrong: The trinity and the deity of christ are not essential doctrines, for they are not even christian doctrines. The trinity and the deity of christ are doctrines taught by trinitarianism, which is a totally different belief system from christianity. Christianity holds to monotheism as taught in the scriptures that the Father is the one God. Trinitarianism teaches that three separate persons are one God, which is not true monotheism. Three is not one. .....One is one If three can mean one, then the meaning of one has been irrevocably altered. The definition of "One" is "alone," without the company of others. One- a single person or thing,.... single unit or individual or object rather than two or more; a single: one woman; one nation; one piece of cake. Single- one, unaccompanied by others: lone, sole Singly- 1. without the company of others Only- 1. Solely 2. without there being others; singly,2. consisting of of or having only one part Solely- 1. without another: Singly 2. to the exclusion of all else Alone- 1. Solely Monotheism- the doctrine or belief that there is only one God. True monotheism is the teaching that the Father is the one God: 1Cor 8:6- yet unto is there but ONE God, which is the Father,... Eph 4:6- ONE God and Father of all,... Psalm 86:10- For thou art great, and doest wondrous things: thou art God alone. Mark 12:29- the first of all the commanments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God (the Father) is ONE Lord:.. John 17:3- And this is life eternal, that they might know thee (the Father) THE ONLY TRUE GOD, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent. Not only are false teachings being promoted as essential doctrines, but there are doctrines that are essential, which were not even on the essential doctrine lists. Where are the doctrines of repentance from sin and obedience to the Lord and his teachings? Those doctrines should be on every essential doctrine list. It is essential to keep the Lord's sayings (teachings), for Jesus said that we do not truly love him if we do not keep his sayings. John 14:23-24- If a man love me, he will keep my sayings:....He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings:... John 14:21- Whoever has my commands and obeys them, he is the one who loves me. John 14:15- "If you love me, you will obey what I command. John 15:14- Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you. Luke 6:46- "Why do you call me, Lord, Lord, and do not do what I say? Jesus also said that we have to hold to his teachings to be true disciples, which means that it is essential to keep the Lord's sayings to be saved. John 8:31-32- To the jews who had believed him, Jesus said, "If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. We are liars if we profess to know Jesus, yet we keep not his sayings. 1John 2:3-4- We know that we have come to know the Lord if we obey his commands. The man who says, "I know him(Jesus), but does not do what he commands is a liar, and the truth is not in him. We have to be doers of the word and not just hearers Luke 8:21- My mother and my brethren are these which hear the word of God, and do it. Luke 11:28- blessed are they that hear the word of God, and keep it. James 1:22- be ye doers of the word of God, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. Repentance from sin is essential Luke 13:5- Except ye repent, ye shall perish. Acts 3:19- Repent ye, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out. Proverbs 28:13- He who conceals his sins does not prosper, but whoever confesses and renounces them finds mercy. Jeremiah 35:15- Return ye now every one of you from your evil way, and amend your way of life. Zechariah 1:4- Turn ye now from your evil ways, and from your evil doings. It is essential to repent from sin, for we cannot continue in sin and still retain our salvation. Hebrews 10:26- If we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, NO SACRIFICE FOR SINS IS LEFT. 1John 3:6- No one who lives in Christ keeps on sinning. No one who continues to sin has either seen the Lord or known him. 1John 5:18- We know that anyone born of God does not continue to sin. Romans 6:1-2- Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? Romans 6:14-15- For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace. What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid. 1John 3:9-10- No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because God's seed remains in him; he cannot go on sinning, because he has been born of God. This is how we know who the children of God are and who the children of the devil are: Anyone who does not do what is right is not a child of God. We cannot do evil and still be of God, which means that it is essential that we stop sinning. 3John 11- he that doeth evil is not of God. John 8:34- Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin. 1John 3:8- He that committeth sin is of the devil;.. The unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God, which means that it is essential that we do not commit unrighteous deeds. 2Tim 2:19- "Everyone who confesses the name of Christ must turn away from unrighteousness." 1Corinthians 6:9-10- Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. Galatians 5:19-21- The acts of the sinful nature are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God. Ephesians 5:3-5- But among you there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality, or any kind of impurity, or of greed, because these are improper for God's holy people. Nor should there be obscenity, foolish talk or coarse joking, which are out of place, but rather thanksgiving. For of this can you be sure: no immoral, impure or greedy person--such a man is an idolater--has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. The Father alone is God is a foundational teaching of the christian faith, yet you will not find this doctrine on any essential doctrine list. 1Cor 8:6- yet unto is there but ONE God, which is the Father,... Eph 4:6- ONE God and Father of all,... Psalm 86:10- For thou art great, and doest wondrous things: thou art God alone. The doctrine that the Father alone is God should be at the top of the essential doctrine list. It is essential to worship only the Father as God, for it is idolatry to worship anyone but the Father as God. How ironic that the two doctrines that are on the top of all the essential doctrine lists ( the trinity and the deity of christ ) are doctrines that lead us into idolatry and not away from idolatry. Those lists are a deception, so do not accept them. We must put no other gods before the Father. Deut 5:9- Thou shalt not bow down thyself unto them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God,.. Deut 5:7- Thou shalt have none other gods before me. Deut 11:16- Take heed to yourselves, that your heart be not deceived, and ye turn aside, and serve other Gods, and worship them. Jesus said that we have to worship the Father in truth to be true worshippers, so it is critical to worship the Father in truth. To worship the Father as only one part of God is not worshipping the Father in truth. John 4:23-24- But the hour cometh, and now is, when the TRUE WORSHIPPERS shall worship the Father in spirit and IN TRUTH: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. Loyalty to God (Do not help false teachers) Essential Doctrines Of The Christian Faith The damage caused by false teachings False teachings lead us astray from the true gospel and the true Jesus 2Cor 11:3-4- But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. For if he that cometh preacheth ANOTHER (false) JESUS, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him. Galatians 1: 6-9- I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, hold him as accursed. False teachings shut up the kingdom of heaven against men Matt 23:13-14- But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in. Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye devour widows' houses, and for a pretence make long prayer: therefore ye shall receive the greater damnation. False teachings convert people to a false belief system Matt 23:15-16- Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, ye make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves. Woe unto you, ye blind guides,.... False doctrines deceive us 2 Timothy 3:13- seducers (false teachers) shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived. Luke 21:8- Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and the time draweth near. False teachings pervert the way of truth (true christianity) 2Pet 2:1-2- there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damanable heresies,.......And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom THE WAY OF TRUTH (true christianity) shall be evil spoken of.... 2 Peter 3:16- As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction. 2 Cor 2:17- For we are not as many, which corrupt the word of God: but as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God speak we in Christ. 1 Timothy 4:1- Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; False teachings spoil our faith Colossians 2:8- Beware lest any man come and spoil you through philosophy and deceitful vanity, through the traditions of men, and ordinances after the world, and not after Christ. We should have such an overwhelming love of the truth that we will refuse to accept any false teachings. Prov 23:23- Buy the truth, and sell it not. 1John 2:21- no lie is of the truth 2Cor 13:8- For we can do nothing against the truth, but for the truth. John 8:32- the truth shall make you free. We are commanded to reject all false doctrines Ephesians 4:14- be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the wiliness of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lay wait for us to deceive us. Hebrews 13:9- Be not carried about with various and strange doctrines. The truth should matter greatly to us. If we go to a false teacher and accept his false teachings, then how can we have any love of the truth? We have turned away from the truth if we accept false teachings. 2Tim.4:1-4- I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom; Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. For the time will come when they will not endure sound (true) doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables (false teachings). 2 Timothy 4:1-4- I solemnly urge you in the presence of God and Christ Jesus, who will someday judge the living and the dead when he appears to set up his Kingdom: Preach the word of God. Be prepared, whether the time is favorable or not. Patiently correct, rebuke, and encourage your people with good teaching. For a time is coming when people will no longer listen to sound and wholesome teaching. They will follow their own desires and will look for teachers who will tell them whatever their itching ears want to hear. They will reject the truth and chase after myths. 2 Timothy 4: 1-4- I give you a command in the presence of God and Christ Jesus, the One who will judge the living and the dead, and by his coming and his kingdom: Preach the Good News. Be ready at all times, and tell people what they need to do. Tell them when they are wrong. Encourage them with great patience and careful teaching, because the time will come when people will not listen to the true teaching but will find many more teachers who please them by saying the things they want to hear. They will stop listening to the truth and will begin to follow false stories. If we allow a blind guide to instruct us, then are we not also blind to the truth? How can we be of the truth if we accept false teachings? Jesus said that those who follow blind guides are also blind. Matt 15:14- Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch. Luke 6:39- And he spake a parable unto them, Can the blind lead the blind? shall they not both fall into the ditch? False teachers are flourishing today because people keep going to them and accepting what they teach as the truth. We are to AVOID false teachers and not let them teach us their false doctrines. Rom 16:17- Now I beseech you, mark them which cause divisions and offences CONTRARY to the doctrine which ye have learned; and AVOID THEM. For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, Romans 16:17-18- I appeal to you, brethren, to be on your guard concerning those who create dissensions and difficulties and cause divisions, in opposition to the doctrine (the teaching) which you have been taught. [I warn you to turn aside from them, to] avoid them. For such persons do not serve our Lord Christ but their own appetites and base desires, and by ingratiating and flattering speech, they beguile the hearts of the unsuspecting and simpleminded [people]. Romans 16:17-18- And now I make one more appeal, my dear brothers and sisters. Watch out for people who cause divisions and upset people’s faith by teaching things contrary to what you have been taught. Stay away from them. Such people are not serving Christ our Lord; they are serving their own personal interests. By smooth talk and glowing words they deceive innocent people. 2Tim.3:1-8- This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith. Prov 19:27- Cease, my son, to hear the instruction that causeth to err from the words of knowledge. We cannot avoid false teachers if we don't know true doctrine from false doctrine. The false teacher can easily deceive us if we are weak in our knowledge of the scriptures. We must read the scriptures over and over and over again until we get so strong in the word of God that no one could ever lead us astray from the truth. Another reason to avoid false teachers is loyalty to God. What are we telling God if we give money and support to a false teacher and accept his false teachings? Are we not telling God that the truth doesn't matter? The false teacher takes the money donated to him and uses it to maintain and to prosper his organization. Do we really want to help a deceiver succeed in leading people astray? We must be very discerning about who we give money and support to, because it is disloyalty to God to help false teachers. Loyalty to God is to hold to his teachings and to follow his ways and to defend the true faith. Luke 8:21- My mother and my brethren are these which hear the word of God, and do it. Luke 11:28- blessed are they that hear the word of God, and keep it. James 1:22- be ye doers of the word of God, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. Matt 4:4- Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. Hosea 14:9- The ways of the Lord are right; the righteous walk in them, but the rebellious stumble in them. God considers us to be a traitor if we only welcome a false teacher into our house and say "godspeed" (good luck) to him. Can you imagine how much more of a traitor God considers us if we join a false church and give money and support to a false teacher and accept his false teachings? 2John 9-11- Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son. If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed (success-good luck): For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds. Godspeed- [From Middle English God spede (you), may God prosper (you) : good fortune; success (used as a wish to a person starting on a journey, Success; prosperous journeying; False teachers think that they are right in what they are teaching, but, in reality, they do not know what they are talking about. 1 Timothy 1-7- Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the commandment of God our Saviour, and Lord Jesus Christ, which is our hope; Unto Timothy, my own son in the faith: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God our Father and Jesus Christ our Lord. As I besought thee to abide still at Ephesus, when I went into Macedonia, that thou mightest charge some that they teach no other doctrine, Neither give heed to fables (false teachings) and endless genealogies, which minister questions, rather than godly edifying which is in faith: so do. Now the end of the commandment is charity out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned: From which some having swerved have turned aside unto vain jangling; Desiring to be teachers of the law; understanding neither what they say, nor whereof they affirm. Warning Against False Teachers 1Tim 1:3-7- As I urged you when I went into Macedonia, stay there in Ephesus so that you may command certain men not to teach false doctrines any longer nor to devote themselves to myths and endless genealogies. These promote controversies rather than God's work—which is by faith. The goal of this command is love, which comes from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith. Some have wandered away from these and turned to meaningless talk. They want to be teachers of the law, but they do not know what they are talking about or what they so confidently affirm. Warning against False Teaching 1 Timothy 1-7- When I was leaving for Macedonia, I asked you to stay on in Ephesus and warn certain people there to stop spreading their false teachings. 4You needed to warn them to stop wasting their time on senseless stories and endless lists of ancestors. Such things only cause arguments. They don't help anyone to do God's work that can only be done by faith. You must teach people to have genuine love, as well as a good conscience and true faith. 6There are some who have given up these for nothing but empty talk. They want to be teachers of the Law of Moses. But they don't know what they are talking about, even though they think they do. Be unmoveable in the truth 1 Corinthians 15:58- Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord. Stand firm in the true faith and refuse to be led astray......Just say NO to the false teacher...don't give him the opportunity to fill your head with his twisted reasonings and false doctrines. Stay far away from the spiritual con-artists of today and give them no power over your life. Listen not to their ramblings about how we have to accept their teachings or we are heretics or how we are robbing God if we don't give them 10% of our income or how we must be baptised by them to be saved. False teachers will use scare tactics like that to bring people into compliance to their authority, but give no heed to their words, for they are empty words. of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, And with all

they received not the love of the truth,
that they might be saved. And for this cause God
shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
That
they all might be damned who believed not the truth,
but had pleasure in unrighteousness. But we are bound to give thanks
alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath
from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of
the Spirit and
belief of the truth:
Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory
of our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore,
brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions (teachings) which ye
have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle. Jesus said that the truth would set us free John 8:31-32- Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word (teachings), then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free
What beautiful words from our Lord! The truth is precious and it does set us free from those who want to deceive us with their false doctrines. Ephesians 4:14- be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine (false doctrine), by the wiliness of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lay wait for us to deceive us. 4:14- We must stop acting like children. We
must not let deceitful people trick us by their false teachings,
which are like winds that toss us around from place to place. Eph 5:6- Let no one deceive you with empty words (false teachings)
False
teachers are liars. They teach things that are not true. Proverbs 30:6- Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar. 1 John 2:4- He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments (teachings), is a liar, and the truth is not in him. Not only have false teachers abandoned the true faith, but, we, too, have also abandoned the true faith if we follow the teachings of false teachers. life everlasting. Ephesians 5:3-6- But among you there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality, or of any kind of impurity, or of greed, because these are improper for God's holy people. Nor should there be obscenity, foolish talk or coarse joking, which are out of place, but rather thanksgiving. For of this you can be sure: No immoral, impure or greedy person—such a man is an idolater—has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. Let no one deceive you with empty words (false teachings) for because of such things God's wrath comes on those who are disobedient.
If we are deceived by a false teacher, it is because we didn't take heed and test his doctrines against the word of God. 1 John 4:1- Beloved, believe not every spirit, but test the spirits whether they are of God: because many false teachers are gone out into the world. 1 John 4:1- My dear friends, don't believe everything you hear. Carefully weigh and examine what people tell you. Not everyone who talks about God comes from God. There are a lot of lying preachers loose in the world. are many false teachings about Jesus being taught today....his birth is
being distorted....his identity is being distorted....his death on the
cross is being distorted....his resurrection is being distorted....his ascension is being distorted....the atonement is being distorted..... and even his second coming is being distorted. The Identity of Jesus is being distorted
Fellowship Fellowship is important but not at the expense of the true gospel. What
good is fellowship if we are fellowshipping with false teachers?
The criteria of a true fellowship is simple. 1. The true gospel is taught (no false teachings) 2. The people of the congregation walk in the light and truly follow the teachings of Christ If a fellowship teaches false doctrines and allows evildoers to remain in the congregation, then that fellowship is a false church and we should stay far away from it.

Paul wrote that we can have no fellowship with false christians 1 Corinthians 5: 9-13- I wrote unto you in an epistle not to company with fornicators: Yet not altogether with the fornicators of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or with idolaters; for then must ye needs go out of the world. But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother (christian) be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolator, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat. For what have I to do to judge them also that are without (unbelievers)? do not ye judge them that are within? But them that are without God judgeth. Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person. 1 Corinthians 5:9-13- I wrote you in my earlier letter not to associate with those who sin sexually. But I did not mean you should not associate with those of this world who sin sexually, or with the greedy, or robbers, or those who worship idols. To get away from them you would have to leave this world. I am writing to tell you that you must not associate with those who call themselves believers in Christ but who sin sexually, or are greedy, or worship idols, or abuse others with words, or get drunk, or cheat people. Do not even eat with people like that It is not my business to judge those who are not part of the church. God will judge them. But you must judge the people who are part of the church. The Scripture says, "You must get rid of the evil person among you."
There can be no fellowship between light and darkness 2Cor 6:14-18- Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what fellowship hath light with darkness? And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. Wherefore come out from among them (unbelievers) and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my Sons and Daughters, saith the Lord Almighty. Not only is it unscriptural to fellowship with false teachers, but it could be dangerous to fellowship with false teachers. Matt 7:15-16- Beware of false teachers, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. Ye shall know them by their fruits. Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things (false teachings), to draw away disciples after them. Therefore watch, Acts 20:26-31- "And so this is good-bye. You're not going to see me again, nor I you, you whom I have gone among for so long proclaiming the news of God's inaugurated kingdom. I've done my best for you, given you my all, held back nothing of God's will for you. "Now it's up to you. Be on your toes—both for yourselves and your congregation of sheep......."I know that as soon as I'm gone, vicious wolves are going to show up and rip into this flock, men from your very own ranks twisting words so as to seduce disciples into following them instead of Jesus. So stay awake and keep up your guard. Acts 20:26-30- I declare today that I have been faithful. If anyone suffers eternal death, it’s not my fault, for I didn’t shrink from declaring all that God wants you to know. “So guard yourselves and God’s people...... I know that false teachers, like vicious wolves, will come in among you after I leave, not sparing the flock. Even some men from your own group will rise up and distort the truth in order to draw a following. Watch out! Ezekiel 22:26-27- Her priests have violated my law, and have profaned mine holy things: they have put no difference between the holy and profane, neither have they shewed difference between the unclean and the clean, and have hid their eyes from my sabbaths, and I am profaned among them. Her princes in the midst thereof are like wolves ravening the prey, to shed blood, and to destroy souls, to get dishonest gain.
"wolves in sheep's clothing" means that a false teacher will present himself as a true teacher and look very credible on the outside, but inwardly he is a hypocrite and a phoney
definition of "wolf in sheep's clothing"- a person who conceals his or her evil intentions or character beneath an innocent exterior. Matthew 23:27-28- Woe unto you...hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men's bones, and of all uncleanness. Even so ye also outwardly appear righteous unto men, but within ye are full of hypocrisy and iniquity.
How can we tell if a teacher is a true teacher or if he is a wolf in sheep's clothing? The true teacher has repented of sin and will be holy in all manner of life and he will truly follow the teachings of Christ and he will teach only true doctrines to people. The false teacher has not repented of sin and is not holy and he doesn't follow the teachings of Christ and he teaches false doctrines to people. False teachings are bad fruit, so we know that those who teach false doctrines are a corrupt tree Doing evil is bad fruit, so we know that those who do evil things, are a corrupt tree The "He is both" Doctrine The trinitarians teach that Jesus is both God and the Son of God at the same time, which is crazy theology. Jesus would be two persons if that scenario were true (and it is not true). Trinitarian quotes "Christ is truly God, and he is ALSO the Son of God" "Jesus Christ is both God and the Son of God" "Jesus is God the Son. Jesus is the Son of God" "Ultimately, which is it? Luke 1:32- He shall be great, and shall be called THE SON of the Highest:... Luke 1:35- that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called THE SON OF GOD. There is only one Jesus and all of the one Jesus is the Son of God....he does not have another part to him that is God. We do not have two Jesus'....the Son of God Jesus and the God Jesus. The two-natures doctrine is a false teaching that distorts the true gospel of Christ. Can you imagine what would have happened if Jesus went about telling people that he had two parts to him and that he was both God and the Son of God at the same time? They would have thought that he was a lunatic. The Father is the one God, which is overwhelming proof that Jesus does not have a God part to him. The scriptural proof that the Father alone is God is right in front of us...it is not a hidden doctrine or a "mystery" that cannot be explained or understood. The scriptures plainly teach that the Father is the one God. 1Cor 8:6- yet unto us is there but one God, which is the Father,... Eph 4:6- One God and Father of all, who is above all,.. 1Tim 2:5- For there is ONE God (the Father), and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus. John 17:1-3- These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee: As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him. And this is life eternal, that they might know thee (the Father) the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent. Jesus never claimed to be God Jesus told people that he was the Son of God, which proves that he did not claim to be God. John 10:36- say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I AM THE SON OF GOD? Matt 27:43- He trusted in God; let him deliver him now, if he will have him: for he (Jesus) said, I AM THE SON OF GOD. The trinitarians point to John 8:58 as proof that Jesus claimed to be God, but John 8:58 does not teach that Jesus claimed to be God. We must not get caught up in private interpretations. We should accept the scriptures at face value that the Father is the ONE God and not try to change and re-interpret the scriptures. A prime example of private interpretation is John 1:1 and John 8:24 and John 8:58. These verses are being promoted as proof that Jesus is God, but those verses are being used out of context and are being twisted to a meaning that is not the true meaning of those verses. Ephesians 4:14- be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine (false doctrine), by the wiliness of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lay wait for us to deceive us. False teachers compass sea and land seeking new recruits Matt 23:15-16- Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, ye make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves. Woe unto you, ye blind guides,.... No one is exempt from being approached by cults and false teachers. I have been approached many times by false teachers to give me a pamphlet that I didn't want. How are we to deal with cults and false teachers who invade our privacy by approaching us on the streets and knocking on our doors? Should we argue and fight with them when they start espousing their false teachings? The way to deal with a false teacher is to avoid him and refuse to hear his false teachings. It is not the will of God that we allow a false teacher the opportunity to try to deceive us. Prov 19:27- Cease, my son, to hear the instruction that causeth to err from the words of knowledge. Ephesians 4:14- We must stop acting like children. We must not let deceitful people trick us by their false teachings, which are like winds that toss us around from place to place. Ephesians 4:14- be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the wiliness of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lay wait for us to deceive us. Hebrews 13:9- Be not carried about with various and strange doctrines. Avoid false teachers Romans 16:17-18- I appeal to you, brethren, to be on your guard concerning those who create dissensions and difficulties and cause divisions, in opposition to the doctrine (the teaching) which you have been taught. [I warn you to turn aside from them, to] avoid them. For such persons do not serve our Lord Christ but their own appetites and base desires, and by ingratiating and flattering speech, they beguile the hearts of the unsuspecting and simpleminded [people]. Romans 16:17-18- And now I make one more appeal, my dear brothers and sisters. Watch out for people who cause divisions and upset people’s faith by teaching things contrary to what you have been taught. Stay away from them. Preacher Malpractice We have laws that protect us from medical malpractice and attorney malpractice and car repair malpractice....and so on, but we have no laws that protect us against preacher malpractice. It is malpractice for a preacher to teach false doctrines. We are receiving a defective product. Preacher malpractice doesn't just cost people their money, but it could cost them their eternal soul if they don't turn away from the idolatrous false teachings put forth by the incompetent preacher. Many incompetent false teachers are in the world today masquerading as true teachers 1 John 4:1- Beloved, believe not every spirit, but test the spirits whether they are of God: because many false teachers are gone out into the world. 1 John 4:1- My dear friends, don't believe everything you hear. Carefully weigh and examine what people tell you. Not everyone who talks about God comes from God. There are a lot of lying preachers loose in the world. 2Cor 11:13-15- For such men are false apostles, deceitful workmen, masquerading as apostles of Christ. And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light. It is not surprising, then, if his servants masquerade as servants of righteousness. Their end will be what their actions deserve. list of false teachings The incompetent preacher doesn't know true doctrine, so why would we allow him to preach to us? Would you go to an incompetent doctor and let him operate on you? Of course not. Would you get on a plane that had an incompetent pilot? Of course not. Would you permit an incompetent contractor to work on your house? Of course not. If we wouldn't allow incompetent professionals anywhere near us, then why would we allow incompetent preachers anywhere near us? We have alot more to lose than just money if we are deceived by an incompetent false teacher, which is our salvation. Our eternity is at stake, so we better make sure that we are not being guided by an incompetent preacher into accepting false doctrines. Line up what you are being taught with the scriptures...don't allow someone to tell you what to believe...search the scriptures for yourself and see if you are being lied to. Test the preacher to see if he is true or not. 1 John 4:1- Beloved, believe not every spirit, but test the spirits whether they are of God: because many false teachers are gone out into the world. 1 John 4:1- My dear friends, don't believe everything you hear. Luke 6:39-40- He quoted a proverb: "'Can a blind man guide a blind man?' Wouldn't they both end up in the ditch? An apprentice doesn't lecture the master. The point is to be careful who you follow as your teacher. Revelation 2:2- I know thy works, and thy labour, and thy patience, and how thou canst not bear them which are evil: and thou hast tried (tested) them which say they are apostles (teachers), and are not, and hast found them liars: Spiritual Abuse Keep Your Thoughts Pure 2Cor 10:5- bring into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ. Philippians 4:6-8- Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. The double minded man says he believes in Jesus, but in his mind he lives like an unbeliever. James 1:7-8- For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord. A double minded man is unstable in all his ways. James 4:8- Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded. 2 Peter 2:14- Having eyes full of adultery, and that cannot cease from sin; beguiling unstable souls: an heart they have exercised with covetous practices; cursed children: Do not be unstable and double minded, but have a clean mind and a clear conscious before God, for he knows our thoughts. Do not have a secret life of sin in your thoughts, but repent from all evil, which includes evil thoughts Isaiah 55:7- Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the Lord, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon. Ezekiel 18:30-31- Repent, and turn yourselves from all your evil ways; so iniquity shall not be your ruin. Cast away from you all your sins, whereby ye have sinned; and make you a new heart and a new spirit. Jeremiah 35:15- Return ye now every one of you from your evil way, and amend your way of life. Hebrews 10:22- Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. Hebrews 10:22- let us go right into the presence of God with sincere hearts fully trusting him. For our guilty consciences have been sprinkled with Christ’s blood to make us clean, and our bodies have been washed with pure water. The Father knows everything.... even our thoughts We cannot hide anything from God..he sees everything that we do and think Hebrews 4:12- For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. 1Chro 28:9- And thou, Solomon my son, know thou the God of thy father, and serve him with a perfect heart and with a willing mind: for the LORD searcheth all hearts, and understandeth all the imaginations of the thoughts: if thou seek him, he will be found of thee; but if thou forsake him, he will cast thee off for ever. Psalm 94:11- The LORD knoweth the thoughts of man, Psalm 139:23- Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts: Isa 66:18- For I know their works and their thoughts: it shall come, that I will gather all nations and tongues; and they shall come, and see my glory. Jer 23:24- Can any hide himself in secret places that I shall not see him? saith the Lord. Do not I fill heaven and earth? saith the Lord. Job 34:21-22- the Lord's eyes are upon the ways of man, and he seeth all his goings. There is no darkness, nor shadow of death, where the workers of iniquity may hide themselves. Prov 15:3- The eyes of the Lord are in every place, beholding the evil and the good. Prov 5:21- For the ways of man are before the eyes of the Lord, and he pondereth all his goings. Be spiritually minded and not carnally minded The carnal (filthy) mind is spiritual death and enmity against God Rom 8:6-8- to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. Titus 1:15- Unto the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled. Our hearts are not right with the Lord if we have evil thoughts, for evil thoughts come from the heart. Matt 15:19- For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies: Mark 7:21- For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, Rom 1:24- Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: Luke 6:45- A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil. When sinful thoughts come into your mind, let them go right out...don't induldge them...refuse to let sin have any control over you Indulging sinful thoughts is like rolling a snowball down a hill....the sin will start out small and get bigger and bigger the longer that you indulge it. Nip sin in the bud right away...do not give sin a chance to grow in your life Sin starts as lust in your mind (thoughts) and grows into full blown sin and ends in spiritual death James 1:12-15- Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him. Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man: But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust (in his mind-thoughts), and enticed. Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death. All impurity must be put away from us Galatians 5:19-21- The acts of the sinful nature are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God. Ephesians 5:3-5- But among you there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality, or any kind of impurity, or of greed, because these are improper for God's holy people. Nor should there be obscenity, foolish talk or coarse joking, which are out of place, but rather thanksgiving. For of this can you be sure: no immoral, impure or greedy person--such a man is an idolater--has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. Do not use your mind as an instrument of unrighteousness Rom 6:13- Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God. Rom 6:19- as ye have yielded your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity; even so now yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness. We must cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the mind and the body and the spirit, for we are the temple of God and the temple of God is to be holy in every way. 2 Corinthians 7:1- Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God. Our body is the temple of God and we must not bring anything that is filthy and unclean and unrighteous into God's temple 1Cor 6:9-20- Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Keep Your Thoughts Pure Walk in love Ephesians 5:2- And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour. 1Cor 16:14- Let all your things be done with love. Love is above all things Col 3:14- above all things put on love, which is the bond of perfectness. 1Cor 13:13- And now abideth faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love. 1 Peter 4:8- And above all things have fervent love among yourselves: for love shall cover the multitude of sins. We have only two fates awaiting us ..... Everlasting life with the Lord or everlasting punishment with the devil. Fate #1- Everlasting Life John 3:36- He that believeth on the Son, hath everlasting life. John 3:15-16- Whosoever believeth in Jesus Christ will never perish, but shall have eternal life. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten son, that whosover believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 5:24- Verily, verily, I say unto you, ha that heareth my sayings, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into damanation; but is passed from death unto life. John 6:40- And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day. John 6:47- Verily, verily, I say unto you, he that believeth on me, hath everlasting life. John 10:27-28- My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: and I give unto them eternal life, and they shall never perish. John 11:25-26- I am the resurrection and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: and whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Romans 2:6-8- Who will render to every man according to his deeds: To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life: But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath, Romans 6:23- For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. 1 John 5:10-12- He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son. And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. 1John 5:12-14- He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:
Fate #2- Everlasting Punishment Matt 25:41- Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:... Matt 25:46- the wicked shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal. Mark 16:16- he that believeth not shall be damned. Rev 21:8- the unbelieving shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone:... Mt 10:28 - And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. Lu 16:23 - And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom Matt 13:40-41- As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world. The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity; And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth. Mt 13:41-42- them which do iniquity shall be cast into a furnace of fire:... Eph 5:5- no unclean (immoral) person hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. 1Cor 6:9- Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived:.. Mr 9:43 - And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched: Mr 9:45 - And if thy foot offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter halt into life, than having two feet to be cast into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched: Mr 9:47- And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out: it is better for thee to enter into the kingdom of God with one eye, than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire: Ps 9:17 - The wicked shall be cast into hell, and all the nations that forget God. Pr 15:24 -The way of life is above to the wise, that he may depart from hell beneath.

Do Not Accept "Another" Jesus 1Tim 2:5- there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, THE MAN Christ Jesus;... Phil 2:7-8- But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: and being found in fashion AS A MAN,.... The God-Man Switch
The two natures doctrine treats Jesus like a light bulb who can switch his "God" part on and off and do this and that in his "human" nature but not in his "divine" nature.
The
trinitarians teach that Jesus was God, but they also teach that Jesus
wasn't God when he died on the cross and he wasn't God when he
declared that the Father is greater than he and he wasn't God when he
was tempted by the devil and he wasn't God when he said that he
doesn't know the time of his return and he wasn't God when he said
that the Father is the only true God and he wasn't God when he said
that the Father is his God and he wasn't God when he prayed and he
wasn't God when he was resurrected from the dead and he wasn't God
when he ascended into heaven.. It is crazy theology to teach that Jesus said or did something in his "man" part but not in his "God" part. Is Jesus two persons? I don't think so!.....We have only one Jesus who said and did things as a whole person and not only as "part" of a person. How does only "part" of a person say something? Did Jesus have a "God-man" switch to turn off his "God" part before he stated that the Father is the only true God and did Jesus have a "God-man" switch to turn off his "God" part before he was tempted by the devil and did Jesus have a "God-man" switch to turn off his "God" part before he died on the cross? And did Jesus have a "God-man" switch to turn off his "God" part before he stated that the Father was greater than he? Can one person both say something and not say something at the same time? Of course not! The
trinitarians have split Jesus in into two separate beings...the
"human" Jesus and the "divine" Jesus who say and do different things from
each other. By teaching that the "human" nature can do separate
things from the "divine" nature, the trinitarians end up at the same
place as nestorianism with Jesus being split into two persons. Quotes "But here's the tough one for me. Jesus was executed on a roman cross and died. Does that mean that God died? Even the question feels blasphemous. Did God die?....Did God die on two pieces of wood, with nails through his hands and feet? Logic offers a ready answer. Jesus is God. Jesus died on the cross. Therefore, God died on the cross. Simple syllogism. But I don't know that can subject the scriptures to that sort of analysis?not when we are dealing with something like the Incarnation.....We could approach it differently. God didn't die on the cross. Rather it was the human nature that God had robed Himself in. The man died but not the God. But I find this wholly unsatisfactory. It seems to be a denial of the Incarnation? It splits the human and divine natures such that Jesus can no longer be considered one person."
